Israel’s Attacks on Gaza Strip – Palestine

Israel once again attacks Gaza Strip – Palestine. Until Sunday November 19, Israel has made more than 90 strikes on Gaza.32 civilian Palestinians have been killed and more than 300 others injured, 140 of whomare women and children. The number of victims is likely to grow if the attacks continue. Until now, there have been no real efforts from the Islamic world to stop the aggression, simply rhetorics of condemnation or readiness for deliveries of food, medicine, equipment and medical personnel. Just as previously happened, those humanitarian aids will not be able to reach the territoryof Gaza due to the blockade at the border or prevention of entry by Israel. As a result, the victims do not receive proper help immediately, while the new ones continue to fall.

Regarding these attacks, Hizb-utTahrir Indonesia states: condems the Israel’s  attacks into the area of Gaza Strip, as well as condemns the US Government which clearly supports these barbaric attacks.For this reason, Hizb-utTahrir Indonesia stages rallies that take place in Jakarta and in other cities in Indonesia and calls for:

1. The Heads of the Muslim Countries to immediately act to stop the attacks. The most effective way to end the attacks is to send troops to the Gaza Strip. If every country sends at least 500 soldiers,  there will be around 25.000 soldiers from more than 50 Muslim countries, including those from Indonesia. Only with this can the people in the Gaza Strip be protected and at the same time stop the attacks carried out by Israel.
2. Call for President SusiloBambangYudhoyono to take initiatives for the implementation of immediate delivery of troops from Muslim countries as soon as possible. As the largest Muslim country, Indonesia has much influence to other Muslim countries to carry out any necessary actions to save the people in Gaza Strip.
3. Being silent while not doing anything and simply denouncing the attacks canbe interpreted that the Heads of the Muslimcountries let the massacres happen in the Gaza Strip, and indirectly support Israel to carry out their barbaric actions in the Palestinian territories. This is a heinous betrayal of Muslims all over the world.
4. Calls upon Muslims to be together to carry out actions to express solidarity for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in all its forms. Further calls upon the people to seriously work hand in hand for the establishment of  anIslamic Khilafah. Only under the framework of the Khilafah can the 1.5 billion Muslims be united and strong, so that the protection and the dignity of the Muslims in various areas, including that in the Palestinian territoriescan be guaranteed. And only in such a way will the Zionist Israel not commit their uncivilized crimes against the Palestinian people in the future. Insha Allah.
