Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia Melanjutkan Kehidupan Islam
“Pondok Pesantren Darussalam is honored to host the cordial meeting of ulama held by Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia. We are open and welcome this activity. This is not the first time Pesantren Darussalam become a host of HTI activities, and this is already the third time,” said Dr. KH Fadhil Yani Ainusyamsi, the head of Pesantren Darussalam, when giving a welcoming speech in the cordial meeting.
The acceptance of Pesantren Darussalam to the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir is not only under the leadership of KH Fadhil Yani Ainusyamsi or better known as Kang Icep, but started from his father the late KH Irfan Hielmy, an honest, a charismatic ulama who make the pesantren Darussalam Ciamis be recognized not only in West Java but also across Indonesia.
In a forum attended by ulemas of Ciamis few years ago, KH Irfan Hielmy said that after reading the books of Hizb, he realized that Hizb is a Sunni muslim organization.
The cordial meeting itself was attended by around 260 ulemas from various regions in Bandung, the biggest city in West Java, and its surrounding small cities.
On the occasion, Ustadz Rokhmat S. Labib from Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia central board invites the ulemas to continue struggling with the Hizb to enforce Islamic Khilafah without fear, as fear of the ulemas is only of Allah.[]
