The Kidnap of HT Pakistan Spokesperson Is Inhuman And Unlawful!

Jakarta-Despite the rain, Hizb-ut Tahrir Indonesia held a rally demanding the release of HT Pakistan Spokesman Naveed Butt, who was kidnapped by Zardari-Gillani regime, on Thursday (31/5) afternoon in front of the Pakistani Embassy, in Mega Kuningan, Jakarta.

“The kidnapping of Naveed Butt is a despicable act and has no legal basis at all,” shouted HTI spokesman Muhammad Ismail Yusanto in front of about 300 people who were wet due to the rain.

Ismail states that Naveed Butt is an activist of dakwah and an Islamist fighter and is not a criminal. “There has been no record at all that he has committed a crime. Therefore, he must be released unconditionally, ” he shouted and then greeted by the protestors.

In addition to demanding the release of his partner, Ismail also urges the Pakistan military to withdraw his loyalty from the pro-American regime to the loyalty only to Islam for the pleasure of Allah alone.

“Now is the time to give nusrah (help) for the Hizb ut-Tahrir to establish the Khilafah, which will enforce sharia kaffah, stop and punish the traitors who have committed treasons and crimes,” he said.

Friday (11/5) at 12.30 Naveed was to pick up his children from school to go home. Before arriving at the gate of his house, the secret service officials took him and put him into a Suzuki van, a car commonly used by Pakistan’s intelligence service, ISI.

Witnesses said that the car of the agents cut Naveed’s car  and from inside the car, eight to ten people wearing black uniforms that read “Security” got out of the car. They are accompanied by intelligence in official uniform of Shalwaar Kameez in plain white.

The incident left Naveed children aged two to 10 years in terror and they ran into the house, while crying.

Since 2003, the government has banned the presence of HT in the second largest Muslim country in the world because HT has gained wide trust from the society quickly, including the trust from community leaders. Apart from all that, there is no Muslim who does not want an Islamic state with one leader instead of having leaders in 57 countries.
